St. Luke's Hospital at The Vintage (SLHV) is scheduled to open and care for its first patient on December 1, 2010—a full six months ahead of its originally planned opening. The acceleration has been successful thus far as a result of the efforts of many diverse professionals focused on bringing SLHV to completion by December 1.

Although an aggressive target, the accelerated schedule is consistent with the bold vision that has led to the collaboration of St. Luke’s Episcopal Health System with physicians in The Vintage community.

The focus and energy required for this acceleration has created a stir in the community, which will only heighten through the fall to SLHV’s first day of operation.

I also want to encourage you to share any questions or suggestions as the vision for St. Luke’s Hospital at The Vintage is brought to fruition.
